by Jessica Polko Colorado and Oakland both executed a pair of trades on the off day after the All-Star game. The Rockies traded Preston Wilson to Washington for Zach Day, J.J. Davis, and a player or cash to be named later. Additionally, Colorado dealt Joe Kennedy and Jay Witasick to Oakland for Eric Byrnes and Omar Quintanilla. The A's second swap sent Chad Bradford to Boston for Jay Payton and cash considerations.
