by Jessica Polko St. Louis placed Jason Isringhausen on the disabled list on April 27th. During his ninth inning appearance in the Cardinals' April 26th game against the Brewers, Isringhausen felt a tweak in his right side on his last pitch to Chris Magruder and his first pitch to Brady Clark brought pain, causing him to leave the game. St. Louis continues to explore the extent of the injury, but the Cardinals plan to pace Isringhausen's rehab so that he returns fully recovered rather than rushes back and relapses. Consequently, he likely won't be back until late May or early June.
