by Jessica Polko C.C. Sabathia injured an oblique while warming up on March 6th. Cleveland doesn't want this problem to linger throughout the season, so they're approaching his rehab with caution. After a week of rest, he'll begin increasing his activity level with the aim of resuming his full throwing program by the last week of March. However, since this injury interrupts his spring preparation, the Indians anticipate that he will not be able to make his Opening Day start, and he may miss a second regular season start before he's able to rejoin the team.
