Last week, Minnesota signed Joe Nathan to a two-year, $10M contract extension that includes a $1M buyout on a $6M option for 2008. After making $2M in the final year of his previous contract, Nathan will receive a salaries of $3.75M in 2006 and $5.25M in 2007.
