by Jessica Polko In late February, Kansas City signed Carlos Febles to a two-year minor league contract. Febles tore the ACL in one of his knees while playing winter ball in December, so he likely will miss the entire 2005 season. The Royals apparently wanted to re-establish his relationship with the organization with the hopes that he will coach for them once his playing career ends. Kansas City intends for him to work as a roving instructor while he rehabs this season.
