by Jessica Polko The Dodgers signed Brad Penny to a one-year, $5.1M contract in late January. When teams and players exchanged arbitration figures, L.A. offered $4.7M while Penny requested $5.7M. If Penny reaches all of the bonuses in the deal, he will receive the mid-point of the those two numbers, as upon reaching both 160 IP and 180 IP he earns a $25,000 and pitching 200 innings procures him a $50,000 bonus.
