by Jessica Polko Montreal placed Zach Day on the disabled list yesterday. Day has experienced some fatigue in his shoulder and elbow, which he hoped might be alleviated by skipping his last start before the All-Star Break. The Expos decided to take it one step further and sent him to the DL. Provided a more serious problem than fatigue is not discovered, the 26-year-old should be ready to rejoin the team when he is first eligible to leave the disabled list on July 21st, hopefully recharged for the second half of the season.
