by Jessica Polko The Dodgers returned Hideo Nomo to the disabled list yesterday. Nomo underwent surgery to clean up his rotator cuff and labrum in early October of 2003, and although he felt able to start the season on time, his velocity has been down and he's lost arm strength. In light of his continued struggles, L.A. feels that he needs to address to the problem without further delay. As he's currently not helping himself or the team, the Dodgers sent him to the DL, where he will undertake a program to strengthen his shoulder. When Nomo visited the disabled list earlier this year from May 28th through June 8th, he was recovering from a split nail on the index finger of his right hand rather than anything related to his current troubles.
