Arizona placed Oscar Villarreal on the disabled list on Monday. Villarreal admitted to soreness in his arm over the weekend and was diagnosed with strained tendons in his forearm. The Diamondbacks placed him on the DL, so that he will give his arm the time it needs to heal, but Arizona hopes to have him back as soon as he's eligible to return, which will be May 25th.
