by Jessica Polko The Dodgers have completed three trades to improve their outfield depth in the last week. In the first deal, L.A. sent cash to Oakland for UT-L Jason Grabowski. Grabowski's displayed solid plate discipline and power at AAA for most of the past three seasons, and while the 27-year-old's primarily played the outfield recently, he's capable of catching and covering the infield corners. Grabowski will open the season in the majors, serving as a defensively flexible left-handed bat off the bench. He should be a useful addition to the club, and since the Dodgers did not even have to part with a player to acquire him, I see little downside in this move. Next, Los Angeles dealt Jason Frasor to Toronto for Jayson Werth. Most recently, GM Paul DePodesta stretched beyond his circle of Oakland associates, trading Steve Colyer and a player to be named later to Detroit for Cody Ross.
