by Jessica Polko Roger Clemens planned retirement will be delayed at least a season, as he signed a one-year, $5M contract with Houston on Monday. The deal includes several special provisions, including bonuses of $200,000 for Clemens for every 100,000 fans Houston draws over 2.8 million through 3.4 million. Clemens reportedly defer $3.5M of his salary until 2006 to make the contract even more affordable for the Astros. Meanwhile, he's agreed to a 10-year personal services contract effective whenever he actually retires.
