Anaheim agreed to a three-year, $8.85M contract with Adam Kennedy, who was arbitration-eligible. Kennedy reportedly will receive $2.5M in 2004, $3M in 2005, and $3.35M in 2006. Depending on playing time, he could earn another $150,000 in bonuses.
