by Jessica Polko Montreal signed Carl Everett to a contract with the Expos in mid-December. Following a one-year deal at $3M in 2004, Everett will hold a $4M option for 2005. If Everett exercises his option, Montreal will then hold a $5M option for 2006 with a $500,000 buyout.
