by Jessica Polko On Wednesday, LaTroy Hawkins signed a two-year, $7.5M contract with the Cubs. Under the terms of the deal, he reportedly will receive a $2M signing bonus, $2M in 2004, and $3.5M in 2005 while holding a $3.5M player option for 2006. Bonuses of $50,000 will be available to Hawkins when he reaches 60, 65, and 70 appearances each year.
