San Diego re-signed Trevor Hoffman last week. The Padres held a $10M option on Hoffman for 2004, but after his arm troubles this past season, that price clearly wasn't appropriate. The two parties reportedly agreed on a one-year deal with around $2.5M in guaranteed money, $500,000 in possible incentives, and an vesting option for 2005.
