by Jessica Polko With Pedro Martinez and Roger Clemens starting for their respective teams, Game 3 of the ALCS was billed as a pitchers' dual. However, neither pitcher seemed to find a groove until a few innings into the game. Clemens gave up two runs on three hits in the first and could have been hurt worse if the Red Sox hadn't been caught in another first inning strike 'm out, throw 'm out double play. New York put together a couple of hits off Pedro to narrow the gap to 2-1 in the second, and then Derek Jeter tied the score with a homer over the Green Monster in the third.
