by Jessica Polko Mike Maroth stole Brian Kingman's claim to fame last night, when he became the last pitcher to lose 20 games in a season. Maroth lasted only three innings in Toronto. Over that trio of innings, he allowed eight runs on 9 H and 2 HR while compiling a 2:2 K:BB. The 26-year-old went out in the fourth but failed to retire four batters and allowed two runs to score before Alan Trammell sent Matt Roney to relieve him.
