Anaheim placed David Eckstein on the disabled list with nerve irritation in his right leg in late August. Eckstein began having problems with his hamstring early in the month and had an MRI done on the 18th, which reportedly revealed an inflamed his right hamstring. While he's taking anti-inflammatory drugs and attempting to return this season, Eckstein's unlikely to return for at least another week and easily could miss the remainder of the season.
