by Jessica Polko Houston acquired Dan Miceli from the Yankees for a player to be named later or cash in late July. Since joining the Astros, Miceli has pitched surprisingly well, compiling an 11:3 K:BB with 14 H and 1 HR allowed in 19 IP for a 1.42 ERA over 12 appearances. I'm concerned his fly ball tendencies will catch up to him pitching at Minute Maid over the last month of the season, but so far the Astros appear to have added a solid arm to the pen.
