Colorado placed Bobby Estalella on the disabled list yesterday. He's been experiencing elbow soreness, which would have put him on the bench for at least several days and the Rockies weren't willing to play a catcher short. Colorado called up Mandy Romero to take Estalella's roster spot and fill the back-up catching role.
