Los Angeles placed Kazuhisa Ishii on the disabled list with a sprained MCL in his left knee in early August. After resting for close to a week, he began throwing again and is now on schedule to potentially rejoin the team when he's first eligible to leave the DL on Thursday. The Dodgers don't appear to believe he'll have further trouble with the knee this year.
