by Jessica Polko In an effort to aid their paltry offense, the Dodgers dealt Victor Diaz, Joselo Diaz, and Kole Strayhorn to the Mets for Jeromy Burnitz on Monday. L.A. drafted Victor Diaz out of Grayson County Texas Junior College with their 37th round pick of the 2000 draft. After spending 2001 with their Rookie-level Gulf Coast League affiliate, Diaz split last year between A South Georgia in the South Atlantic League and AA Jacksonville in the Southern League. The 21-year-old returned to Jacksonville this season and was hitting .291 with a .353 OBP and .462 SLG on 92 H, 20 2B, 2 3B, and 10 HR with a 27:60 BB:K and 8/18 SB% in 316 AB.
