by Jessica Polko Antonio Osuna returned from the disabled list yesterday. He'd been on the DL since April 23rd after straining his right groin during an appearance on the 22nd. After resting for almost two weeks, Osuna began a gradual rehab process. Osuna reports that he now feels completely healthy, and since he took his time recovering, we shouldn't expect any lingering problems. The Yankees called up RHP Al Reyes to replace RHP Osuna on the roster when he hit the disabled list, but when Osuna returned yesterday, New York demoted LHP Randy Choate. When Pittsburgh chose to drop Reyes weeks before Opening Day, I suggested teams should look to stash him away as inexpensive injury insurance. Reyes signed a minor league deal with the Yankees a few days before the start of the season. Over the last few weeks, he's provided them with solid, if not stellar innings.
