by Jessica Polko Three of Florida's starting pitchers are currently on the disabled list and Michael Tejera could follow his teammates to the DL at any time. Tejera left his Saturday start against the Rockies prior to the start of the fourth inning. While A.J. Burnett and Josh Beckett both suffered arm injuries, Tejera and Mark Redman are down due to accidents. While running to first base after hitting a groundball off Jason Jennings in the third, Tejera tripped over first base, rolling his ankle and tumbling to the ground. He's been diagnosed with a strained right Achilles, but his lower back is causing him more pain. I suspect he'll attempt to make his next start, since the Marlins are already using their eighth starter. However, I wouldn't be surprised if he left the game in the early innings and headed to the disabled list the next day. This injury seems like something that will require a couple weeks of rest.
