by Jessica Polko Cleveland placed Karim Garcia on the disabled list yesterday. Garcia began having problems with his left wrist after sleeping on it wrong in late March. He then missed several days in mid-April and the Indians revealed a small cyst had developed on his wrist. Most recently a tendon on top of his left arm has been bothering him. Consequently, Cleveland wants to give him time to rest and recuperate. Additionally, with Garcia hitting the DL, the Indians didn't have to make a decision as to which player to demote with Milton Bradley returning from the disabled list yesterday. Bradley landed on the disabled list on April 26th, though the move was made retroactive to the 23rd. He reportedly first injured his hamstring running the bases during the Indians' April 15th game against Baltimore. After playing through it for a week, he aggravated the injury during Cleveland's April 22nd game in Seattle. The Indians believe he's fully recovered and he played centerfield yesterday without any apparent difficulty.
