Pitchers with 2 starts to deploy only in leagues that don't count qualitative stats:
With Willingham disabled, we'll rectify another initial error by adding Joe Mauer as a free agent, dispatching Joey Gathright. We also can't resist Brandon Webb as our fourth and last free agent. He faces Tampa next week, enjoys a nice double next week, and finishes the year with six straight weeks at home or in pitchers' parks. Clint Barmes joins Gathright in departing our roster since if either of our shortstops hits the DL, we need someone like Nomar, ironically also a free agent this week, with more offensive oomph.
SP(6) Santana, Oswalt, Webb, and Haren appears fairly obvious calls, but while we'd like Pedro and wouldn't mind Halladay, we're using Schilling and Felix to give us more cap room for offense. Jenks replaces Street with the latter in Colorado. With Willingham, Pujols, and Encarnacion all injured, Mauer replaces Willingham and then Hawpe flips for Tracy, who appears comparatively less useful than Tex and Figgins at the moment.

SP(6) With the Cubs' bats theoretically ice cold, Santana and Sabathia will join the obvious calls of Webb and the three likely doubles. Pujols obviously remains useless, and with neither Kearns nor Rios impressing me, Holliday's return leaves those two on the bench.

SP(6) Haren's Colorado start sends him to the bench over Randy; Huston Street similarly remains out of our lineup. Willingham, Pujols, and Encarnacion stay seated, but then the Rockies' return home lets us flip Helton and Holliday for Tex and Figgins.

SP(6) With Mussina far more likely to double than Randy, he'll join Santana, Oswalt, Pedro, Vazquez, and Haren in our rotation. Offensively, Willingham, Pujols, Ellis, Encarnacion, and Sullivan stay glued to our bench. A healthy Crosby replaces Barmes while Holliday flips for Tracy and deploying Hermida for the hurting Gomes gets us under the cap.

More importantly, with interleague play in AL parks occupying most of this week, several NL utilityman should see regular action, including Damian Easley, Ryan Freel, Chris Burke, Andre Ethier and Matt Kemp, Corey Hart, Shane Victorino, Geoff Blum, and Steve Finley.
