While we can't justify adding Jonny Gomes this week, we will add Jim Thome as a free agent, dropping the injured Rich Harden. We almost certainly will purchase both Nick Swisher and Felipe Lopez when Colorado hits the road next week, but with the Rockies at home, we see no need to flip players this week.

Today's Fantasy Rx: Take full advantage of DC free agents this week. Despite recent slumps, we consider Victor Martinez and Jose Reyes as must-own players. Jim Thome, Chris Carpenter, and Chris Ray also merit that standing, and we won't discourage anyone who wants Carlos Lee or Jonny Gomes.
