'05 AA/AAA Starting Pitcher Week continues tomorrow, featuring Minor League Free Agent and AAA/AA Starters in the American League Central.
Today's Fantasy Rx: Based on each player's keeper potential heading into his sophomore season in the majors, select rookie starters in the following order in minor league drafts; I've included the preferred round price for Ultra leagues: Francisco Rosario($5), Chien-Ming Wang($2), Chris Seddon($2), and Hayden Penn($2). Only Rosario appears likely to receive a decently long look this spring, but Wang also could emerge as the first homegrown long-term Yankee starter since Andy Pettitte, excluding Jose Contreras and El Ducky due to their advanced ages. Wang owns great skills and only needs a big league injury to open the necessary opportunity. Lastly, while Seddon and Penn currently rank way down the depth chart on their respective teams, both dominated the lower levels and possess the repertoire to contribute in the majors fairly soon.
