Third Basemen Week begins tomorrow.
Today's Fantasy Rx: Based on each player's keeper potential heading into his sophomore season in the majors, select rookie shortstops in the following order in minor league drafts; I've included the preferred round price for Ultra leagues: Rickie Weeks($15), William Bergolla($10), Willy Aybar($5), Richard Lewis($5), Jayson Nix($5), Josh Barfield($2). Although Nix's upside probably merits a $10 bid, his terrible performance in 2004 only justifies his selection in a relatively low round. Barfield possesses somewhat similar roto upside to Nix, flailed to a great extent last year, and should reach the majors in a far less friendly home park to hitters than Nix.
