Arizona: Juan Brito, C While Brito only turns 27 this November, his performance at Tucson should secure him AAA work for the rest of the decade. He also owns good defensive skills, however he failed to take advantage of a brief starting opportunity in July, continuing to struggle as Arizona first acquired Koyie Hill and then replaced the injured Hill with the surprisingly productive Chris Snyder. Of course, Brito's 3.36 G-F and questionable plate discipline indicates he shouldn't repeat his Tucson stats any time soon. As his respectable 3.90 #P/PA doesn't demonstrate sufficient upside to warrant employing him in any fantasy league, deal or cut him immediately even if desperate for cheap catching talent. Without any guarantee he even can break a .200 average, Brito simply doesn't merit a roster spot.
