Arizona: Chris Snyder, C The Diamondbacks rushed Snyder to the majors last month when Koyie Hill suffered a season-ending injury. While he ranks as the best defensive prospect among Arizona's young catchers and may possess the best offensive skills, a poor .70 contact rate in the majors indicates he needs another year of development. Of course, Snyder could steal the starting job from Hill next spring given his relatively strong September and unexpected power surge.
