Arizona: Doug DeVore, 26, OF-L DeVore first reached the majors after the Roberto Alomar trade, but his awful performance forced him back to Tucson after three weeks of flailing at the plate. He returned to Arizona last week and could see regular at-bats, however I see little upside here despite his decent power. While DeVore consolidated his hitting gains nicely last season at Tucson, BA problems this year forced all his averages down, leaving him with negligible immediate fantasy value. The additional collapse of his plate discipline, coupled with a 2.09 G-F and unimpressive 3.69 #P/PA with the Diamondbacks, means you should ignore DeVore in any league.
