by Tim Polko Chicago White Sox: While I view centerfield as a competition between Jeremy Reed and Aaron Rowand, I don't see Reed winning the starting job unless Rowand injures himself again. He offers significantly more upside than Rowand, but his lack of upper-level minor league experience gives Chicago the excuse they need not to rush Reed. The fifth starter's job also appears contested by at least a half dozen pitchers, however selecting anyone other than Jon Rauch is a significant mistake. Dan Wright and Neal Cotts may be the next best alternatives, but Rauch is the only candidate who appears ready to earn significant fantasy value immediately, not to mention contribute the most to the White Sox.
